Hello!

I am a dynamic, motivated marketing professional with solid hands-on experience in account management, business development, and customer experience across a variety of sectors. I have a creative and entrepreneurial spirit, with experience developing innovative and strategic marketing campaigns. With superb interpersonal abilities, I focus on building productive relationships with clients and stakeholders, serving as bridge and ambassador to drive relationships and profitability.

My Story

I am an islander and an extroverted guy from Caguas, Puerto Rico. My passion for communications started when my church folks allowed me to lead the youth group at 17. As I started to be inclusive and bringing fresh ideas to the traditional congregation, effective and creative communication was indispensable.

In 2014, I started my undergraduate journey at the University of Puerto Rico, communication theories and practices merged, and collaboration with peers and classmates transformed my creative approach. I was eager to be a game-changer in my community and curious about culture and diversity. This motivation and open mindset about communications pushed me to travel abroad and start my first six-month student exchange in Madrid, Spain. That time in Europe brought fresh ideas, perspectives about life, and the world we live in.

Once I returned from Madrid and saw my family again, Hurricane María hit the island on September 20th of 2017. I decided to move from the island to Florida state to finish my bachelor’s degree in Communications. It was a double shock: inverse cultural shock plus the natural disaster at home. These life episodes made me more resilient, among other students that came with the same purpose to different states. The University of Central Florida became my new alma mater. Those two years were very challenging, but I meet many friends, professionals, and professors that were key in my student and career path. I had the opportunity to travel with students and professors on professional trips, visited different advertising agencies, and gained perspective and insight into the marketing industry.

I  finally graduated in 2020 in the middle of a pandemic that hit the entire world. I was not alone. Every person in the globe was affected in some way by this virus. It was not the graduation I expected, but I experienced overcoming career anxiety and uncertainty. It was a hard process, but we all were together, and I did not feel alone.

I ask myself what is next for me and how I will use all my experiences and motivation to grow in an innovative culture to bring back to society. It could feel like a professional uncertainty, but in reality, it is the process of being the best version of yourself.  I decided to start my own freelance business as a marketing professional offering digital media services to small and medium business on-site and virtually.

Today, I feel proud that you are reading this and believing in my work, story and vision. Thank you!

Let's create momentum!
